This is the scanning host of the IT Security Lab of University of Applied Sciences Münster .

Who we are and what we do

We are active academic security researchers with a focus on protocols and cryptography in general. The scans performed by the host are used to fingerprint internet-enabled devices such as typical Internet-Of-Things (IOT) devices, servers, or other appliances. The results are processed for security research which is published on academic conferences.

This host performs only non-malicious scans and is not used to attack or harm any device.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of our scans by sending an email with your IP ranges to itsscan@fh-muenster.de. Alternatively, you can block the IP addresses we use for scanning:
